OUR MISSION

The Temecula Valley Kennel Club (TVKC) strives to:

Promote and maintain the conformation, structure and function of the Purebred Dog, to perform the tasks for which each and every dog breed were distinctly developed

Encourage and facilitate responsible dog ownership

Sponsor/host all dog breed shows annually

Public education

The Temecula Valley Kennel Club proudly supports the mission of the American Kennel Club (AKC):

the American Kennel Club is dedicated to upholding the integrity of its Registry, promoting the sport of purebred dogs and breeding for type as well as function. The AKC and its affiliated organizations advocate for the purebred dog as a family companion, advance canine health/well-being, work to protect the rights of all dog owners, and to promote responsible dog ownership.

The AKC is a Purebred Dog Registry that consists of 193 Dog Breeds, plus a miscellaneous class of dogs. Please visit www.akc.org for more information.
